North Cregg hold a special place in Fiddle Fair history. Whether on stage or in the audience they were a staple at most of the festivals back in the early days. You could say we grew up together.

Like Fiddlers' Bid now aslo semi-retired, we have broken the bank and persuaded them to bring the curtain down on our 2024 festival. This will be epic!

25 years on from the birth of one of Ireland's finest traditional music groups, North Cregg remains a unique voice on the traditional Irish music soundscape. Rooted in the vibrant traditional music of their native County Cork, the band embraces musical influences from around the world to create a distinctive and charismatic sound. Swing piano and drums backing up the accordion and fiddles dance rhythms with songs old and new which make up the much-loved North Cregg sound.
