The Fiddle Fair Recommends Cork X SouthWest
Hey everyone out there in Fiddle Fair Land.
Apologies to all of you waiting on this years Fiddle Fair Wrap but it will be coming along some fine day now. Those of us who were there will have lots of good memories I'm sure.
The reason we're 'slack' on the 'ol wrap front is that we went straight from Fiddle Fair to Cork X Southwest mode (and you though life was pretty easy around here). Cork X Southwest is a one-day music festival we started a couple of years ago (because one festival is never enough right?) in Skibbereen.
This years edition takes place on Sat 31st July with 4 stages and almost 50 acts including Martha Wainwright's only Irish gig of 2010, the amazing Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & The Cairo Gang, The Hothouse Flowers, The Handsome Family, Mick Flannery, John Spillane, The Céilí All Stars, Jinx Lennon, Future Trad Collective and loads more.
